Ten years ago, at the tender age of 54, when I received my first prescription for hearing aids, I was admittedly a little shocked. But I quickly realized how much more quality of life they meant for me. After a long time, I could once again perceive many everyday sounds, like birdsong, the soft click of a turn signal, and so on. I could also follow and participate in normal conversations again, largely without much effort or having to ask people to repeat themselves. Nevertheless, there were still situations where, despite the hearing aids, I couldn't understand everything and felt somewhat left out.
By chance, I ended up at Rafael Nikolić's office in the fall of 2025. Even during our first conversation, I noticed the difference compared to my previous hearing aid specialist. With his expertise, empathy, and patience, he advised me very professionally and quickly convinced me to get new hearing aids. It's a decision I've never regretted. Often, it's just small nuances in the settings that make hearing, and therefore everyday life, easier and more pleasant. Situations where I don't understand everything have been reduced to a minimum, and living with my family has naturally become much easier as a result.
